          1. So I've been hit by the @WhatsApp Android beta bug as well. A lot of my images across a lot of chats are missing. They are still on my device but it's a bit of a pain to find. Hopfully this gets resolved soon without too much hassle.

          I knew this was going to happen and hoped there would be a fix by now. I can no longer access WhatsApp without updating my app, but I can't update because no new version has been released. Being locked out from the app for being on an outdated version is not my fault...

        I'm going to try leaving the beta and uninstalling and then reinstalling the public build of the app. I'm hoping this doesn't wipe out my messages.

      So I've left the beta... I need to wait for this to switch back to the public build so I can download it again 🙃

    So I've managed to get all my messages back but I'm missing the last days worth of messages 😭 Images and still missing across a lot of my chats as well 😢
