            So around this time in 2016, I was still learning about #Bitcoin and got offered a signup bonus by @circlepay for their consumer app at the time

          It was only about £5 that I got for free and I ended up spending it at @nincomsoupldn for a coffee and a ham & cheese croissant as they were one of the only few places that accepted Bitcoin as payment at the time

        I remember posting a photo of it on the day so I went back, found the photo and the date it was taken to work out roughly how much Bitcoin was worth that day 👀

      From what I could find, £5 of Bitcoin was roughly 0.00990099 Bitcoin Today that 0.00990099 BTC is worth £450+ 💀

    While that fraction of Bitcoin is worth a lot more today and I should have just held it, I don't think I would know nearly as much as I do about Bitcoin today it was wasn't for me messing around with Bitcoin payments (and other crypto things) back then ✨
