Did you know before you can file a self-assessment tax return you need to first register for self-assessment & it can take up to 10 working days to get your Unique Taxpayer Reference? I didn't and I need to submit a return by the end of the month 😬

The good news is, if you still haven't done this, you have a bit of extra time HMRC are waiving late filing & late payment penalties for self-assessment tax returns for one month Meaning, you have till the 28th Feb to complete this gov.uk/government/news/hmrc-gives-self-assessment-taxpayers-more-time-to-ease-covid-19-pressures

Of course, I think it's probably a good idea to still aim to get everything done by 31st Jan 2022
