    1. Honestly, I will never get over how backwards and frustrating some high street banks are I needed to add my email address to an old account to make some changes to it and the process was just a nightmare 👇

    I thought this will be easy since I can log into online banking & the app I can just update the email address that way...WRONG I had to order an online banking card & be sent a PIN before I can add my email address to the account Ok, I order the online banking card and wait...

      Surprisingly the card arrives...but the PIN didn't, so I forgot to do anything because I never got the PIN in the mail Once I reordered the PIN letter I thought I would be able to now finally be able to change the email address on my account now Again...I was wrong...

        Now when I logged in, it wanted me to order a card reader to go with my online banking card...but didn't mention this when I ordered my online card in the first place?! Cool. I'll just order it then, right? Nope...

          The website tells me it would be better if I 'registered' my face in the app to approve changes like this and I could do that instead of ordering a card reader Ok, if that is quickly I'll do that then After about 10 minutes it's all set up...

            I go back to the website to update the email address on the account but apparently, I still need a card reader to be able to confirm the change to the email address on the account & they won't accept the face approval thing I just did So why did the website tell me to do this?!

              I order the card reader & it finally arrives a few days later I go to make the change on the website now Can you guess what it told me to do once I requested the change? It told me to approve the change using the app instead of the card reader

                I've wasted so much time just trying to add my email address to this account and at this point, I don't even want to use the account anymore because I'm not dealing with jumping through all these hoops again Fintechs are going to win banking if this is their competition
