  1. Am I the only person that avoids telling people what I studied at university? The second I mention I studied CompSci everyone always wants me to help them with a printer or some other tech issue they have This must be so common across all CompSci grads

      Once I got asked to fix a printer I was pestered for a week to come around and check their printer I finally went over and checked...it wasn't plugged in... Bear in mind I did ask them to check this before I went over

        Last year I got asked to help someone help fix their computer Found out it was a chunky Windows laptop that was like 12+ years old (I think it was running Windows XP) They were not happy when I suggested just buying a new one
