  1. I've just heard about a mutual friend that is working 60+ hours a week! All because they want a promotion/wants to look good in management's eyes. Don't do this! Don't kill yourself for a company that will have no problem dropping you in a split second.

      Companies exist to make money. They have no incentive to keep you if you are not making them money or saving them money. Also trading your health (mental & physical) for money is not worth it in the long run. Put yourself first!
